NYG 2023: Ex Kwara Badminton Player Optimistic of Medal in Badminton



Ex Kwara State  Badminton Player, Hajia Oluwakemi Jimoh, has expressed optimism in the ability of the state's badminton players for the 7th National Youth Games, NYG, to deliver a podium finish performance.



Hajia Jimoh who is also a member of the Kwara sports ambassadors revealed that the players had undergone successful screening from the MOC of the championship and believe in them to deliver medal for the state in the sporting event . 



According to Hajia Oluwakemi, Kwara is a grooming grand for badminton and squash, we are not a pushover in those games, we are sure of podium finish at the end of the week long competition. 


He commended Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his unwavering support for the state's athletes, adding that Car reward for one of the badminton and para athletes last year was another motivation for the athletes to record a sterling performance.



On the initiation of the Kwara State sports ambassadors in the state, she explained that the group was established and duly registered with CAC to  revamp some sports events like Hockey, others and to also encourage grassroots development
