DFA Congratulate, Emphasizes Sportsmanship for Super Eight Qualifiers

 The Delta State Football Association has extended hearty congratulations to the clubs that have earned their spot in the highly anticipated Super Eight tournament. In a statement released on Tuesday in Asaba, the association commended the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship displayed by  clubs throughout the qualifying rounds.

The Super Eight tournament, set to take place in the picturesque town of Agbor, promises to be a thrilling showcase of football talent from the state. However, it's not just about the competition; the Delta State Football Association has also placed a strong emphasis on good sportsmanship.

"We congratulate all the clubs that have made it to the Super Eight tournament," said  Steve Cole, head Competitions Committee. "Your achievement reflects your commitment to the sport and the remarkable talent within our football community."

The association also took this opportunity to remind the qualifying clubs of the importance of upholding the principles of fair play and good sportsmanship. "As you compete on the field in Agbor, remember that you are not only representing your respective clubs but also our state and its rich football heritage," Steve Cole  added.
