Edo State Sports Commission Mourns As EFA Announces Kindness Ohiowele's Passing

 The Edo State Sports Commission has expressed sadness over the death of the vice chairman,Edo State Football Association Mr Kindness Ohiowele.

The Edo FA Board led by Mr Fred Newton Erhunmwunsee broke the sad news of the passing of their vice chairman Kindness Ohiowele on Sunday morning.

Kindness Ohiowele who was also the Vice chairman of Edo state YUSFON died after a brief illness on Sunday morning.

According to the Edo State Football Association,their late Vice Chairman Kindness Ohiowele,died in Yenagoa,Bayelsa state where he led team Edo Under 18 boys.

He was the head of the delegation of the Edo state team to the ongoing South-South FAs' Under 18 Football Tournament in Bayelsa state. 

In a condolence message,the Executive chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission ,Olympian Yusuf Alli,said that he received the sad new with  rude shock. " I still can't believe it. Kindness Ohiowele was a complete gentleman and easy going person."

" This is another big blow to Edo sports family. Ohiwele's passing no doubt,has created a big vacuum that will be difficult to fill.The Edo state sports family will surely miss the thorough grassroots football administrator who died in active service 

We commiserate with his immediate family and Edo Football Association. We pray for God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

We also pray for God to grant him eternal rest. May his soul rest in peace. Amen." Alli Concluded.
