Edo fa State FA Cup Semi-Final: Edo Queens set to feast on Heart Sports FC

 

Defending Champions of Edo State Federation Cup Edo Queens FC will tomorrow evening Monday March 25th, 2024 file out against Heart Sport Football Club at the Western Boys High School Benin City.

Edo Queens FC who have been Champions since the inception of the State FA Cup, would be using the match to prepare for their NWFL  mat h day 11 clash against Sunshine Queens of Akure on Wednesday March 28th, at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Benin.

Coach Moses Aduku may likely not parade his first team against Heart Sport for some technical reasons. 

For Heart Sport FC, this is their first outing in the State FA competition. Playing against an experienced  NWFL premiership side like Edo Queens  will offer them a good opportunity to learn from their Superiors. This will also be the first State FA cup spell for some players in Edo Queens. So it is the desire of the new comers  to show their skills and prove  to Edo Queens that they have got what it takes to give them a run for their money.

Two semi- final matches will be played in the same venue tomorrow. The first would be between Fortress Ladies FC and Red Soil ladies FC. Kickoff time is 2.pm. While Edo Queens will face Heart Sport FC kickoff time is 4.pm.

The finals will be played on Sunday 31St, March 2024 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Benin City.

Edo Queens players who have not had the opportunity of doing well in competitive club assignments should use this medium to launch themselves into the main team and prove their critics wrong.

The defending Champions have also vowed to reach the finals and retain the Cup for keeps.

Edo Queens fans expect to see good display of football artistry and festival of goals both in tomorrow's cracker and also in the finals.
