2024 NYML/NLO Youth League: Insurance Feeders Thrash FC Benedi 4-0 To Maintain Dominance

 

Bendel Insurance Feeders on Thursday thrashed FC Benedi 4-0 to maintain their dominance in the South -South zone,Bayelsa Center of the ongoing 2024 NYML/NLO Youth League.

Goal scoring machine Eguakun Marvis, again opened scoring for Insurance Feeder in the 36th minute after many wasted chances before half time whistle.

On resumption from the halftime break, Alakwe Godstime  doubled the lead for Insurance in the 48 minute. Ini-obong was again impressive as he increased the tally for Insurance Feeders in the 67th minute. Brorie Idbiri sealed the 4-0 victory for the Insurance Feeders with a sublime strike in the 78th minute.

Insurance Feeders lead the Bayelsa Center with 10 points, with superior goals against Morak FC who are on same ten points.

The coach Stanley Osazee managed Insurance Feeders will be locking horns with De Cordial Sports Club in the last fixture of the Bayelsa Center on Friday. A convincing winning for the young Insurers by a wide margin at the Samson Siasia stadium on Friday could earn the Benin based side the sole ticket for the NLO playoffs.

Insurance Feeders' last opponents De Cordial Sports Club on the other hand are on nine points, making the final match a big battle,

while their closest rivals Morak(10 points) walked over Junosa FC.

The young Benin Arsenals on Wednesday defeated Junosa FC 5-1 to increase their chances of winning the sole ticket available in the South-South Zone of the ongoing 2024 NYML/NLO Youth League. Eguakun Marvis and Ini-Obong were instrumental in the demolition of Junosa FC.
