‎EDO FEMALE RUGBY TEAM ,COWRIE RUGBY FC WIN 5th RACING 10'S RUGBY TOURNAMENT ‎

 

‎Edo Female Rugby team has emerged champions of the Female category of the 5th Edition of Racing 10's Rugby Tournament after defeating their perennial ach rivals AJ City Rugby team (Lagos State Female Rugby Team) by 26 points to Nil.

‎

‎Team Edo Rugby proved superior in the nail biting finals encounter on Saturday,August 2, 2025 at the Main Bowl of the National Stadium Surulere Lagos. 

‎

‎Both teams met two years ago at the National Females Rugby Tournament in Asaba, Delta state and Edo were superior as well. 

‎

‎The Edo Rugby Team won the championship in Style yet again as they conquered without conceding any Points or Try throughout the tournament.

‎

‎It is the second time Edo Rugby team is recording such a historic achievement in the game.

‎AJ Sharks came second and host Racing came third .

‎

‎Cowrie Rugby FC on the other hand has emerged champions of the male category of the 5th Racing 10's Invitational Rugby Tournament, 

‎

‎In the KIDS 7'S,Wolverines Rugby came first, Racing Academy came second and Selects schools came third.
